Stacey Gibbons is the Owner and Director of Earth and Sky Yoga in Wolfeboro, NH. Stacey is certified in Forrest Yoga, Power Vinyasa Flow, and Hatha Yoga, and has trained with Manju Jois in the Ashtanga system of yoga. She most recently attended the Advanced Forrest Yoga Teacher Training in Cranston, Rhode Island. In addition to her Master certifications in Traditional Reiki and Karuna Reiki, Stacey has also trained in Shamanic, Light and Sound, and Stewardship of the Earth Practices with Cie Simurro. She also received her Advanced certification in Kolaimni Healing as taught by Grandmother Mechi of Cherokee descent. She also holds her training with Levity LaughingStar very dear to her as Levity is a Master Healer in multiple disciplines including Native American Wisdom. Stacey is the Holistic Health Educator for The Kingswood Youth Center and is responsible for creating "The Wilderness Within", a nine week credit course offered to high school students that combines a Reiki certification, Native American Wisdom, Yoga and yoga philosophy, and meditation. This course is school board approved. Stacey brings humor and compassion into her classes and intuitively guides her students into their own healing space with Forrest Yoga.
Bonnie Blum RYT
Bonnie received her certification for children’s yoga at Kripalu with Shakta Kaur Khalsa. With a background as a professional dancer, fitness instructor, yoga practitioner and a kindergarten teacher of 18 years, Bonnie has combined her knowledge and skills in teaching children’s yoga. She found that yoga can benefit children with skills of concentration, balance, control physical coordination, promote self discipline and increase self-confidence. Yoga is a gentle non-competitive form of exercise that all children can enjoy. We will stretch, breathe, sing and play to develop a happy, healthy sense of self.
Rhonda Alden RYT
Rhonda Alden completed the Forrest Yoga Teacher training in the summer 2008. This training is an intensive 200-hour program taught in 24 days. Rhonda has been studying yoga since February 2006. She embraces yoga for the connections between the health of body, mind and spirit and for the potential each of us can reach through yoga. Through her yoga practice, she personally experienced a healing of a 5 year old injury that was prescribed to be lifelong. Becoming a Forrest yoga teacher prepares her to demonstrate compassionate guidance in empowering individuals to heal themselves on many levels.
Michelle Clarke, Childlight Yoga Instructor
Michelle attended the Childlight Teacher training, with Lisa Flynn in April of 2009 at the Living Yoga Studio in Concord, NH. She started practicing Ashtanga Yoga in 2004, took her first Forrest Yoga class with Stacey in the summer of 2008 and has been hooked ever since. She has utilized her yoga practice as a means to challenge herself physically, release tension, stress and also find balance and clarity in her hectic life as a young mom. As a former high school Spanish teacher, turned stay-at-home mom, she decided to link her young children to her yoga life. She is currently enrolled in the Yoga New Hampshire Teacher Training Program through the Living Yoga studio in Concord, NH, under instructor Maureen Miller. Michelle lives in Wolfeboro, NH with her husband Rich, sons Reese and Brady, and baby girl, Lainey.
Brie Burbank, Massage Therapist, Yoga Instructor, and Aesthetician
Brie brings 7 years of touch and holistic therapies into her classes. She is passionate about encouraging her students to find a place of authenticity in their practice both on and off the mat. Brie is known for teaching safe and challenging classes with clear alignment instruction. She enjoys exchanging ideas with her students while sharing her interests and knowledge of the body. Inspired by her Rasamaya foundation, she believes that asana practice takes place through fluid transitions, presence and awareness. She brings a playful and light hearted feel into her classes. When she is not immersed in teaching yoga, practicing massage, or sharing her passion for organic skin care; Brie enjoys wakeboarding on Lake Winnipesaukee.
Valerie LaGram RYT
Valerie LaGram was a competitive gymnast for 10 years and took ballet for 8 years. In college, she took up modern and jazz dance and also karate. After sustaining many injuries over the years, Valerie settled into the gentle, non competitive practice of yoga. One year later, she decided that she wanted to take her practice a bit deeper and committed to a 9 month yoga teacher training program at Earth Heart Yoga in Laconia, NH. There she received her training under Joyce Kendall and Ashley Ludman, both certified in Anusara Yoga under John Friend, and she also attended intensives with Doug Keller and Deb Neubauer. Valerie has been teaching at Heartworks in Tuftonboro, NH for the past year and a half, and in May of 2008, received her certification in Hatha yoga, at the 200 hour level. She also taught Poolside Yoga, a beginnerʼs class with asanas in and out of the water, at The Mill Pool and Fitness Center at Purity Springs, NH. Valerieʼs gentle classes focus on breath and alignment while mindfully learning how to listen to the needs of oneʼs body.
Eric Dombrowik
Eric Dombrowik is a student of life, seeking to follow a path of spiritual clarity, inner focus, and self-improvement. A former middle-school teacher, Eric holds a Masters degree in Education and a 200-hour yoga certification. He has used his experience with and affinity for middle- and high-school students to teach yoga to youth in schools, community centers, and yoga studios. Eric now brings his enthusiasm for teaching yoga to youth to The Wilderness Within for boys ages 10-13 at Earth and Sky Yoga. Eric looks forward to learning as much from the young men he teaches as they can learn from him.
