Stacey Gibbons

Stacey is a Director of Earth and Sky Yoga and is a Registered Yoga Teacher in Forrest Yoga and Vinyasa Fusion. She most recently attended the Forrest Yoga Teacher Training in North Kingstown, Rhode Island in July of 2007. She is also certified in Hatha and Power Vinyasa Flow and has trained with Manju Jois in the Ashtanga system of yoga. In addition to her Master certifications in Traditional Reiki and Karuna Reiki, Stacey has also trained in Shamanic, Light and Sound and Stewardship of the Earth Practices with Cie Simurro She also received her advanced certification in Kolaimni Healing as taught by Grandmother Mechi of Cherokee descent. Stacey is the Holistic Health Educator for The Kingswood Youth Center and is responsible for creating “The Wilderness Within”, a nine week credit course offered to high school students that combine a Reiki certification, Native American Wisdom, The eight limbs of yoga, and practice in meditation. This course is school board approved. Stacey brings humor and compassion into her classes and intuitively guides her students into their own healing space with Forrest Yoga.

Scoop Welch

Scoop is a Director of Earth and Sky Yoga. She is a 200 hour certified yoga teacher, who received her training at Soma Yoga in Newport, Rhode Island. Practicing yoga has been a blessed discovery of physical strength, spiritual connection and deep release for her. Her Vinyasa classes are meant to be fun, explorative and energizing. She continues to deepen her practice by receiving instruction with such teachers as Shiva Rae, Rolf Gates and Ana Forrest. Scoop graduated UNH with a B.S. in Family Studies and lives in Sandwich.

Susan Egerton-Griggs

Susan is a Certified Yoga Instructor, registered with the Yoga Alliance. She received her certification in Iyengar and Vinyasa at the Nataraja School of Yoga, Kennebunk, Maine, and later joined the school as an instructor. While there, she helped develop the course structure for registration as a Yoga Alliance 200 hour Teacher Training School. She previously studied Kripalu and Ashtanga Yoga at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, in Lenox, Massachusetts. She has continued to develop her understanding of the traditional Ashtanga practice through week-long Teacher Training Intensives with David Swenson, Maty Ezraty, Nancy Gilgoff, Manju Jois, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, and, most recently, Richard Freeman. She has a B.S. in Art and Education and is a Shamballa Reiki Master Teacher. Currently, she is studying to become a Quantum Touch Practitioner. As a yoga teacher, she has chosen to present the practice with an emphasis on deep internal awareness’s, an understanding of the physical “point” of the posture, and how the practice teaches us to live a more peaceful, rewarding and happy life. 

Darcie Shedd

Darcie is a graduate of Vital Kneads Institute for Massage Therapy.  She is certified in Thai Yoga Body Work; and an Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master healer and teacher. In 2001 she obtained her Amrit Yoga Teacher Certificate and fell in love with teaching yoga.  Darcie teachs yoga to children and adults of all ages. She is currently pursuing a Certification in Anusara Yoga.

Sue Fair

Sue is an ACE certified Personal Trainer, ACE certified Group Fitness Instructor and ACE certified as a Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant. She is STOTT PILATES trained on the mat and reformer as well as specialized training through STOTT on Injury and Special Populations and Postural Analysis. Sue has studied and completed several workshops on Balance and Mobility Training under the direction of Douglas Brooks, gold-certified ACE Personal trainer and exercise physiologist.
Sue understands first hand the challenges of balancing healthy habits with the demands of a busy life. It is hard to find time to get in shape and it’s even harder to find the motivation to stay in shape. She is committed to help you become fit. It’s never too late and you are never too old to take control of your health. By making simple gradual changes in your life each week, you can reshape your mind and your body.
